Our Middle East operations have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join our Qatar office.

Reporting to the Water and Infrastructure Group Manager, this position will suit an experienced design engineer with a track record in design, project delivery and client relationship management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying market trends, tracking and responding to potential opportunities, winning work and successful delivery for various clients.

You will also possess:

Minimum of years experience in the field, with BEng / BSc Civil Engineering or equivalent. Business Development and Marketing capabilities to secure new clients

Technical knowledge of water distribution design and wastewater collection system design and transport. Knowledge of surface water design and management.

Understanding of contemporary hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software. Strong analytical and technical report writing skills and written/verbal communications.

Preparation of outline and detailed civil engineering designs and producing technical and commercial specifications, design reports, drawings and schedules.

Experience in project management. Monitors and controls project budgets and schedules, initiating any necessary action to achieve established financial targets.

Preparation of tender submissions including proposal cost and time estimates.

Liaison with municipalities, utilities, and other consultants for information, as required in pursuit of approvals and general coordination tasks.

Capability to coordinate with the other multi-discipline project managers, teams and subconsultants.

Supervision and mentoring junior staff, providing technical and professional guidance to assist in their development Middle East experience and a working knowledge of design, international standards and construction practices specific to this region will be considered favorably.
